. SpectraRep develops
standards-based content
delivery solutions for
public warning,
emergency information
and emergency management
and is working with
Federal, state and local
agencies on the design
and deployment of
interoperable
all-hazards notification
and emergency management
systems
“SpectraRep is proud
to have joined the EIC,”
said Edward Czarnecki,
SpectraRep’s Vice
President for Government
Solutions. “By pursing
standards-based options,
SpectraRep works in a
cross-industry
environment with those
who create, produce,

a collaborative
environment, with its
own tools that
facilitate the creation,
management and delivery
of content. Our products
are standards-based
solutions that utilize
the Common Alerting
Protocol, XML and
existing exchange
protocols that provide
ready-to-deploy
solutions for critical
emergency messaging. We
look forward to actively
contributing to and
supporting the EIC
mission.”
SpectraRep’s
solutions include
AlertManager™ and
IncidentOne™.
AlertManager delivers
all-hazards alerts via
satellite, digital
television, wireless
broadband and the
Internet, to emergency
broadcast equipment,
cell phones, email
addresses, text
messaging devices, and
pagers. AlertManager
supports rapid and
targeted distribution of
IP-based data content,
was well as emergency
messaging based on the
latest version of the
Common Alerting
Protocol, an XML-based
data format for
emergency messaging that
is increasingly being
adopted by local, state
and Federal agencies.
IncidentOne is a
flexible suite of
alerting, training,
pre-planning & incident
management applications,
delivered over a
wireless broadband
network. IncidentOne
provides a datacast-enabled
tool for law
enforcement, fire and
emergency personnel to
access mission critical
information in real
time.
“We welcome
SpectraRep’s membership
and participation in the
EIC’s efforts to improve
emergency communications
through collaborative
efforts,” said Matt
Walton, EIC Chairman.
“SpectraRep has
demonstrated a
commitment to data
interoperability across
industry and government.
EIC and its members look
forward to working with
SpectraRep to continue
the industry-wide effort
to improve standards
that will make the
nation’s emergency
communications systems
even more efficient and
effective."

and incident management.
Now comprised of over 30
organizations, the EIC
promotes the development
and adoption of
standards for using Web
services, Extensible
Markup Language (XML),
and existing exchange
