Broadcasting Engineers on DTV Datacasting at WEBE/SMPTE Conference
SpectraRep's EVP will address
DTV Technology, Reception, and Customers
(Chantilly, VA, October 8, 2002)
- SpectraRep's Executive Vice President, Mark O'Brien, will speak on DTV
Datacasting Technology at the WEBE/SMPTE broadcast engineering conference being
held October 11 - 12, 2002, at the Atlantic Sands Hotel, Swan Ballroom, in
Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The convention will be hosted by the Association of
Washington Executive Broadcast Engineers (WEBE) and The Society of Motion
Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). Both of these organizations promote
idea sharing and information exchange amongst peers.
"I will educate attendees on the latest datacasting technology, including
technical improvements in the transmission and reception of DTV signals. I will
also talk about datacasting business models and specific customer applications
that are being worked on by SpectraRep," states O'Brien. Mr. O'Brien's
presentation is scheduled for Friday, October 11, 2002, from 4:30 - 5:00 p.m.
