SpectraRep is Pleased to Announce Tokuo Oishi as Vice President, Operations
October 26th, 2005 - Chantilly, VA - SpectraRep®, a leading provider of solutions for the broadcast delivery of IP video, rich media and data over digital television and satellite, is pleased to announce that Tokuo Oishi has joined the firm as Vice President of Operations.
Dr. Oishi has had a distinguished career working in the satellite communications industry. He brings SpectraRep over twenty years of experience in communications systems engineering, project management, architecture design, service development, and software life cycle management. His technical and operational experience extends across satellite, IP, broadband, video, and voice systems.
Previously, he was Principal Scientist at Intelsat, where he managed major Virtual Private Network (VPN) service offerings, and developed the project plan for a variety of major initiatives, including Intelsat’s video distribution network, an international IP file distribution system, and Voice Over IP (IP) satellite systems.

Dr. Oishi earned a Ph.D. in Electrophysics from George Washington University, as well as a M.S. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Niigata University. He holds a Project Management Certificate from the Project Management Institute, Virginia Chapter, and is a member of the IEEE Communications Society
