AlertManager Webinar: Options for Next Generation Public Alert and Warning
The FCC has just released its revised EAS Handbooks for Broadcasters. These handbooks make reference to the implementation of next-generation Emergency Alert System (EAS) capabilities that are standards-based and interoperable with a wide range of communications media.
During this Webinar, SpectraRep will address the importance of the CAP protocol and what that means for emergency alerting as well as how the FCC’s rules regarding state and locally targeted EAS alerts impact public broadcasters. What’s more, SpectraRep will review the opportunities and challenges for public broadcasters, and examine how the AlertManager emergency notification solution can open major emergency communications opportunities for the public broadcast community.
