AlertManager™ is a patent-pending all-hazards emergency notification capability based on the latest version of the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP). The AlertManager system provides secure origination and transmission of alerts, bulletins and updates to broadcasters via a range of IP-based networks, including satellite, DTV data broadcast, and VPN Internet.
The AlertManager Alert Server Core™ is the hub of the next generation EAS system, supporting the Command Center message interface, providing security management and policy compliance, CAP and multimedia message processing and distribution. The Alert Server Core supports secure remote access for multiple agencies or jurisdictions, and can link a wide variety of warning channels, including broadcast EAS, mobile alerting, telephone, e-mail, signage and sirens. The Alert Server Core supports a network centric configuration at a government site, at a third-party location, or hosted at the SpectraRep data center.
The Command Center interface enables state and local authorities to easily complete and launch effective EAS messages, along with audio and other multimedia, such as video, maps, digital photos, PDFs, documents and more, to ensure proper response to an emergency situation.
For advanced EAS at radio, television and cable sites, the Alert Message Processor™ (AMP) provides a robust appliance that enables for FCC Part 11 compliant EAS activation. The AMP monitors a wide range of IP-based networks for CAP-based messages and multimedia resources (audio, video and other file attachments). The AMP also can provide a broader range of alert, warning and public safety information to broadcast newsrooms and other services.
The AlertManager™ solution allows for the dissemination of digital CAP-based public alert and warnings direct to radio, television and cable sites, ensuring a rapid and accurate flow of information to the public.

CAP data is converted and routed as audio for a monitoring source for EAS encoder/decoders. The LAN Ethernet interface enables access to all emergency data (full CAP message, plus audio, video & files) and export to third party applications. Content of alerts can be displayed on television and cable systems, as well as relayed over radio, giving you a safe, reliable communications system.
