SpectraRep Brings Educational Datacasting to TAB Annual Convention August 3-4, 2021
Happening this August in Austin, the 67th Annual Convention & Trade Show from the Texas Association of Broadcasters (aka TAB) promises an informational program and show. The event includes everything from a golf tournament to exhibit hall to educational sessions and awards gala. TAB 2021 will be hosted at the J.W. Marriott in downtown Austin on August 3 and 4.
SpectraRep president Mark O’Brien is part of the 2021 TAB program, along with Mark Newman from Indiana Public Television Stations. Their presentation entitled NextGenTV: No Internet, No Problem – TV Datacasting Supporting Remote Learning will be on Tuesday, August 3 at 5pm. In it, they will discuss Indiana’s roll-out of educational datacasting to bridge the gap between the classroom and broadband, and how ATSC 3.0 impacts and improves the educational datacasting experience. Use cases will also go beyond K-12 education.
